To be eligible, you must be a Waikato resident and have an impairment which means you are unable to drive. This impairment could be physical, intellectual, psychological, sensory or neurological. Applications can take 10-20 business days to be completed. You will receive a notification when your card is ready to collect, all Accessibility Bee Cards must be picked up in person from the BUSIT counter. Your primary caregiver may also collect on your behalf.
Note: Only approved assessors have access to the application form and there may be a small charge for this assessment.
