Fare changes for BUSIT and Flex are coming from 28 September 2026 – see below for the new prices. Bus fares are increasing to help meet the rising costs of providing bus services across the Waikato and to support the continued delivery of services.
Fare policy review: consultation open now
We are seeking feedback on proposed changes to public transport fare policies in the Waikato.
